Having recently moved to an 18th century cottage in Buckinghamshire, I was keen to replace the existing modern radiators with cast iron versions to complement the age of the property. Dismayed at the cost and poor quality of contemporary, "period style" radiators, I came across a leaflet for The Reclaimed Radiator Company while browsing at The Old Cinema in Chiswick. After a home visit to measure up and regular discussions until I was completely satisfied with the colour and finish, the radiators were fitted with minimum disruption. They have totally transformed the rooms, both by their elegance and warmth. I'm also delighted that my radiators have a past, rather than a characterless, modern equivalent.
